Featuring unique graphics created by Winnipeg-based Indigenous artist, Jordan Stranger, Spirit poles are designed to inspire walkers to follow a path to good health and spiritual well-being, drawing on the strength and beauty of nature and on the Elk Spirit as a guide. We developed our Spirit Poles to promote awareness of the benefits of Nordic walking in the prevention and treatment of Type 2 Diabetes. Urban Poling will donate 2% of the proceeds of all Spirit Poles sales to the National Aboriginal Diabetes Association.
